Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, is a content creator, actor and producer for film and stage. His art and online presence engages a combined audience of 10+ million followers, with dramatic themes of satire and social justice.
Debo is a trained thespian with performance credits on stage, TV and film. In tandem, his journey of online content creation started in 2019 with the satirical Daddy Wa character that rapidly gained him a following across multiple platforms. By late 2020, Debo would also become an outspoken ally in the EndSARS and OccupyLekkiTollGate movements – even after falling victim to police brutality as a result.
In recognition of his art and advocacy, Debo has received The Future Awards Africa Prize For Content Creation (2020), Gatefield’s People Newsmaker For Social Justice Award (2022) and TrendUpp Africa’s Force Of Influence Award (2023).
