Blessing Ehize is a senior technology executive and Chief Technology Officer with over 24 years of leadership in banking technology, digital transformation and enterprise operations. He leads enterprise technology strategy, infrastructure, software engineering and data science, ensuring secure, scalable and resilient platforms that support business growth.

Before his current role as Chief Technology Officer at First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Blessing served as Group Chief Information Officer at Ecobank Group, where he directed technology operations across 33 countries. He strengthened digital channel reliability, reduced change-related incidents and delivered sustained high system availability across a complex, multi-market environment.

He is known for driving engineering discipline, advancing cloud and platform modernization, embedding Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and leveraging automation and AI to improve performance and operational efficiency.

Blessing holds Masters degrees from the University of Salford, UK, and other post graduate degrees from the Stanford Graduate School of Business US, and Manchester Business School, UK.
